Los Bravos del Norte de Ramón Ayala

Profile:

Created: 1971 (Active since)

Los Bravos Del Norte are a Norteño group that was started by the Legendary Ramón Ayala. After Cornelio Reyna left for a solo career, Ramón Ayala gathered the original of Los Relampagos Del Norte, (Drummer and Bass player) as well as getting a new lead singer/Bajo Sexto player, Tony Sauceda. Throughout the years, there have been replacements for numerous of the group. The longest member who stayed the longest with the group was Jose Barragas. He was with the group since the beginning but was replaced by Ramón Ayala's brother, Fidencio Ayala in the late 80's. A high amount of their albums were released either the same year or within a year or so from two different labels, these being the American Label Freddie Records and the Mexican label DLV. That being said, its not that uncommon to see various albums with the same cover art or tracklist from the two labels. Also, there may be some albums that have two different release from Discos DLV and DLV Musart, since they're technically two different labels. In some instances, there may be an album cover that has a photo of the group, and that photo will be used in another album from another label.
