Wishful Thinking

British pop band, 1966-80. included: Roy Daniels, Richard "Rick" Taylor, Terry New, Pete Ridley, John Redpath.

Roy Daniels (voc), Richard Taylor (guitar) Roger Charles (bass) and Brian Allen (drums) were formerly The Emeralds, then to change name to Wishful Thinking.

A later lineup, Brian Allen, Tony Collier, Kevin Finn & John Franklin, had a huge hit in with the Dave Morgan (2)-written song "Hiroshima".

In 2008 the band reunited in the "Hiroshima"-lineup to record new tracks and release a new CD in 2009, including a new version of their big hit "Hiroshima".
