Alex Napier

Alex Napier (Born: 18 October 1947 - Died: 19 January 2023) was a British drummer, multi-instrumentalist and composer, best known for being one of the founders of the rock band Uriah Heep.

Alex was the original drummer of legendary hard rock band Uriah Heep, and also played in Spice (their original name). He played drums on 6 of the 8 songs on the 1970 Uriah Heep debut album, "Very 'eavy Very 'umble" (exceptions being "Lucy Blues" and "Dreammare", on which Nigel "Ollie" Olsson filled in).
