L.C. Cook

US soul songwriter / singer. Born 14 December 1932 in Clarksdale, Mississippi; died 21 July 2017.

The younger brother of Charles Cook, L.C. Cook was also a singer, although he achieved his greatest prominence on paper, as a songwriter, thanks to his more famous brother’s tangled contractual relationships. He was born two years after Sam. Tried to pursue a career of his own, but remains in the shadows of his brother.
