Elvis Presley – 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong (Elvis' Gold Records, Vol. 2)

I'd difficulty telling whether or not this album was in mono or stereo. I played A in mono, using the mono button on my receiver, and B in stereo. Pressing is indeed quiet.

Whatever the label might say this is a mono record - cut by Boppin Bob Jones. It sounds excellent and is the cheapest way to hear the historical analogue Elvis given that all other analogue versions post 1970 are in that horrible reprocessed stereo.

Well balanced with good seperation.
Vocals and drums sound great, bass is present but not overbearing. Guitars are crisp though a bit too mannered to my taste compared to an original, a tad too low in the mix.
Record plays flawlessly, quiet, flat and centered. Recommended.

Pretty sharp and clear sounding, with very clean and quiet vinyl. The remastering sounds like it's trying to bring out bass that was probably a bit shy or buried in the original sources.

Fake stereo and very muddy sounding but I've found out that if you boost treble on your turntable it doesn't even sound too bad

This is the first reissue for this album in the spanish market in 1977. The cover don't say "Elvis Gold Records volume 2", but "Elvis Rock and Roll. Vol.2". Below is 50,000,000 Elvis fans can't be wrong is in english and spanish. Tha backcover has the same photo that appears in the US version but in the right and black in white. Later in 1985 was 2nd reissue with the original USA sleeve.

Fantastic album, horrible pressing. The "stereo" is just horrific and the songs are painfully cluttered. I would avoid this at all costs.

The actual material is remarkable. It's one of the best Elvis records you can find, just not this version.

Love the songs and the album but I would say there were problems with this original pressing of the album. Some of the rocking songs were at a lower volume on my pressing. So if I want to play this album now I play the Legacy edition copy which came out a couple years ago.

I have a factory sample version of this, would be interesting to know if it is of any value

Was the Sony/Legacy 2020 mono reissue sourced from analog tape or digital?
