Great sounding great pressing but pricey. So you know My original Santa Maria pressing sounds great too at a fraction of the price. -

Another strange turn on the Grateful Dead’s long strange trip capturing the band at their peak with a laid back heady brew of experimental fusion/oriental rock & country & some cool jazzy instrumental ages & whatever else featuring top-notch musicianship evoking an eccentric & beautiful array of melodies & sounds. There are some lovely gems hidden here among a batch of songs that flow very nicely.
A very rich sounding album & one of the band's best post-1970 studio efforts plus amazing cover art. -

This 24-bit 96kHz remaster, coming 38 years after its debut, sounds amazing. The soundstage is very wide, and the vocals and instruments are located with laser precision. If you could play the master tape at home any time you wanted this is likely what you'd hear.
Amazingly this was the 14th GD album in 8 years (counting live albums).These guys weren't lazy. I want some of what they were drinking / smoking / popping -
Great album. This CD release is worth it just for the bonus material.
