If you are a Wes Montgomery fan and you found a copy of this record, congratulations, you are into something good! This is a collection of alternate takes and some completely unreleased tunes from 6 well-known releases. It is likely you will recognize many of these sessions and personnel. In short, you have the benefit of hearing Wes improvise through several more choruses of some of your favorite pieces.
The first 3 tracks from the "Full House gig alone are worth this album's weight in gold. Wes and Johnny Griffin are on top of their game. The next side are excerpts from "Boss Guitar"... Okay, I it on some of the CD reissues, you will find several of these alternate takes. But what a treat to have them all in one place on vinyl. That last tune is a gas, I actually like this alternate better than the keeper.
Recordings are all as good as the studio originals and the pressing is wonderful.

This is a truly underrated, lesser-known release. There are quite a few gems on this release showcasing Montgomery's talent.
