    i feel like people shit on this album too much, this is one of my favorite projects from gorillaz!
    my pressing is pretty damn silent, and it sounds really punchy.

      This album has grown on me a lot since it's original release. While I do like Albarn's projects after this, they've gotten very same-sounding. So the more experimental, noisy, "dance party for the end of the world" sound of this album is a breath of fresh air in comparison, and I think the mixed reception for this record was the root cause of that problem unfortunately. It's a real shame, since it would've been neat to see Albarn build off of the themes and sounds of this record.

      Pressing is decent enough, quiet throughout and distortion free, but nothing special sonically.

        When I just got into the Gorillaz fandom, I thought that this was a bad album (because of the 5 million collaborators and stuff). But after buying the vinyl and having a listen, I would say that this album isn't that bad. The songs on this album don't even sound like actual proper songs. Like they sound wholly experimental. Except for some songs that actually(??) sound like songs, for example Saturnz Barz, Momentz, and Andromeda. And that's what I like about this band. I give this album an 8/10.

          Not my favorite gorillaz album at all, but the record version definitely changed my mind on some of the tracks. I went from liking only 2 songs on this album to liking closer to half of the tracks. Saturn Bars was good but it's even better.

            I like this album, i find it an enjoyable listen. The quality of this pressing though.... ehhhh its ok. Its not bad and i am glad to have it on vinyl, but it is definitely not super clear sounding. Besides being a little muddled sounding the bass is there but not intense.

              all the people slating this album should really revisit this. even i wasn’t keen at first and i am terribly biased towards gorillaz.

              EVERY SONG (besides hallelujah money) just gets better and better with each listen. in my opinion this record is better than gorillaz’ self titled album, and my only complaint is that we don’t have any of the deluxe songs or sleeping powder on vinyl yet!!

                      My copy is flawless! Although not my favourite Gorillaz album, definitely one of the best sounding pressing I have of any album! Hugely recommend if you like it!
