Sounds completely flat and quiet. My turntable and speakers are both very high end and it sounds bad.
-
Sounds fantastic. Don’t listen to any negative reviews. Chris Bellman did a terrific job on the mastering here. Pressing is flat and centered.

One of my favorite records. Never understood the hate so many have of it. Its not IMs best but its not their worst. The pressing I have sounds great.

Edited 7 years agoBought one of these brand new and there was terrible (and I mean TERRIBLE) dropouts on the first 3 songs on side one (Tailgunner, Holy Smoke, title track). So I returned that and grabbed another from a different vendor. Same exact problem. There are weird dropouts and odd distortions. yes my TT is set up fine. I have ALL of the Maiden BMG/Ingrooves reissues on 180g and, to be honest, the all sound GREAT except this one. I'm really bummed about it too. It's now a collection filler where the album is something I once enjoyed long ago. Oh well.
