Each CD housed in printed cardboard wallet. Comes in sturdy cardboard box, also containing 80-page booklet with liner notes, credits and track-by-track comments by Eliane Radigue, all of which in French and English.
This box set was repressed by MPO in February 2025 in a version that contains no notable differences, apart from the matrix.

Edited 6 years agoA worthy and substantial compilation by one of our greatest living composers who is also a pioneer of electronic music, this is nonetheless not a comprehensive collection. There are works contained on the individual CD releases of Chry-ptus, Psi 847, Transamorem-Transmorten, and Triptych that are not included here. Essential deep listening. I wonder if someday there will be a collection of her Oeuvres Acoustiques...

Repress up for pre order on 'boomkat'. Not sure if its the same price as the original press, but still doesn't seem too expensive for what you get.

Eliane Radigue's music is of sheer beauty. A true female pioneer in electronic music. She is also a beautiful woman. This compilation box is a must have in every collection and a nice extra for who already own nearly her entire catalogue however i started with this one and am intending to buy more of her albums. -
Has anybody noticed a mastering defect in disc 3? Sounds like a scratched/skipping cd to me.

This is music that should be playing when you’re born, and when you’re dying. Minimal ambient drone that requires deep listening, and produces a meditative state. Required ownership for all lovers of ambient electronic music and minimalist composers.
