There are two informational errors on the back cover:
The back cover notes state: "Leadbelly died a pauper in Bellevue Hospital in 1941." His actual date of death was December 6, 1949.
A boxed note states that eight of these tracks were made in 1939. These were actually recorded in 1944, released first on 78s and later together as an LP on: Blues Songs Sung By The Lonesome Blues Singer in 1954.

Fantastic pressing! About as good as I've heard those old recordings sound. Probably closer to the original tapes than many later releases, too.
