i bought one of these counterfeits. it has a slip cover over a cardboard insert that was from another album. the pictures were not printed on a blank album cover. kind of odd. does anyone else have one with a slip cover. this album has never been played.

This is a curious pressing for sure. The sound-quality sounds like you are listening to the radio, and even sounds a little pitchy at times. I wish I could sell my copy on Discogs (blocked pressing), but I did muse while listening to it that it is kind of unique in the sense that our parents were not discovering the Beatles in hi-fi--but rather on shitty radios. This record sounds like probably what a lot of original fans were hearing in 63.

Unfortunately this unofficial version is not worth the price it is being sold for. The album sleeve isn’t gatefold and that in itself devalues the entire album. I bought an unopened version still in the shrink wrap and discovered pops present on the album. Save your money and buy the official version “VJLP-1062”.
DON’T BUY VERSION “VJLP-1092”! That’s the unofficial version. -
I have a copy of this album, which i bought sealed for $1.99 in the 1970's. The Introducing the Beatles LP inside has Anna and does not have From Me to You. It has the brackets label and "The Beatles" is ABOVE the hole. Has anyone else seen this?
