So, this is the copy that is the closest I can find to the one I have (https://discogs.mejorapp.org/release/2942876-The-Beatles-1962-1966) The most obvious difference is that my copy says 1973 in various places, while the version in the link I included below says 1976. The similarities that my copy has with this copy is:
A) Both have Red Covers
B) Both have the Misprint Blue Labels
C) Both have the Jacksonville "0"s on all 4 Sides
D) Both share the same exact info in the runout for Sides 1 and 2:
Side 1: SKBO-1-3403 Z6 #6 STERLING (Stamped) LH 3 0
Side 2: SKBO-2-3403 Z11 #8 STERLING (Stamped) LH 2 0
E) Both have the same label and catalog number (Capitol Records – SKBO 3403)
Now the main difference that has me puzzled is that the version in the link has STERLING Stamped on Sides 1 and 2 while Sides 3 and 4 have MASTERED AT CAPITOL Stamped in their runout. My copy has STERLING Stamped on Sides 1, 2 and 3 but MASTERED AT CAPITOL on Side 4. And I can't find this particular set of stamp etchings on any of the other listings. The other difference is the rest of the markings in the runout of Sides 3 and 4. My copy has the following etchings:
Side 3: SKBO - 3 - 3403 Z7 #7 STERLING (Stamped) LH 2 0
Side 4: SKBO - 4 - 3403 H22 #4 MASTERED AT CAPITOL (Stamped) Jay 0
If anyone has any info on my copy, I'd really appreciate it if you'd enlighten me as to what I have here. And, would this justify a new listing as another version???
To sum things up, I have a copy of the Red Cover Gatefold with the Misprint Blue Capitol Labels. Sides 1, 2 and 3 have STERLING Stamped in their runout but Side 4 has MASTERED AT CAPITOL Stamped in its runout. The catalog number is SKBO - 3403 with (1098) on the spine. Thanks for any info you can share with me.

Edited 8 years agoThis is a great pressing. It actually has very good sound clarity, notably in the bass and low-end.
