Electra could be classed as the next best 1970 prog band from the DDR after Stern Combo Meissen. They made four pretty good albums before plummeting to mediocrity. This, their second, is in many ways my favourite, a totally instrumental album based on classical themes, but done with great panache and invention. Lots of great keyboards (Hammond organ and synths) and more flute than on a Jethro Tull album! A gem that's never properly been reissued on CD to date.
