Mine's a great pressing.. it's loud but super clear, no distortion whatsoever, clear as a bell. I wonder if a lot of the "bad pressings" would improve greatly with a proper wet wash, which I did, the static on the inner sleeve was crackers on mine...

Edited 4 years agoGreat sounding pressing, not "Overdriven" with the mastering at all [DR=12]. However, pressing quality is a bit iffy, it was warped out the shrink. You need a microline 2 gram tracker to get through this as it's pressed pretty hot.

Edited 6 years agoI just bought a brand new copy and put it on this morning and it was completely muddy. The 2nd song was skipping all over the place. Horrible pressing. I wish I looked here before buying!

I guess I am lucky my pressing is ok and not warped, does sound slightly muffled though but its the same on Spotify so not unique to the vinyl.

Yeah, my brand new copy skips loads through track 2 side 1, also a few skips and jumps on side 2. Crap pressing!
-
This pressing is somewhat "strange" - my copy is not skipping or jumping, but it has noteable distorsion.
When I do check the levels it is obvious that this version is simply pressed "way too loud" - many decks will skip or jump if used with insufficient weight or unreliable tracking ability of cheapo stylus constructions. I had to reduce input levels at the phono stage by 6 or 7 points before the red "over" led stops blinking like a traffic sign. :D
Pity... thx to a maybe existent god - there comes a with the release.
This does have the usual issue with overly compressed mp3-quality for kiddie cellphone battles but is at least "clean".
So the vinyl will only serve as decoration - please stop this silly loudness boundaries pushing on vinyl - save this focking crab for the CD and streaming junkies. -

I've read this is supposed to be limited to 1000 copies?
there's nothing to indicate this on the cover or vinyl...
Also.. Who Pressed this? Mine plays great but is warped.
Best song is 'I Can Tell' in my opinion.. I live in a village near stoke on trent :-/
