Seller

Shipping to USA only right now, sorry.

I ship 1-2 times a week. Depending on when you order you may have to wait as many as 7 days for your package to go out (or as few as immediately if you happen to order right when I'm packing). As such, I won't reply to your very useful and not at all annoying "when will this ship?" questions unless 7 days have gone by.

Also you will get a tracking number, but I don't know if you've noticed, but USPS has been pretty laggy on scanning those lately. So please have faith that your package will be dropped off at the post office the next business day after receiving a tracking number. What they're doing with it at that point, and why it's not scanning is beyond my control, so again, I'm not replying to any questions about why the tracking number hasn't been scanned. Actually, how about I answer it here: "Give it a few days." There, we good?

Also this is a fun discogs tip in general: every order number has a dash in it, and the number following the dash is how many orders that seller has filled on Discogs. So you'll notice mine is in the four, soon to be five figure range, right? That's a lot of Discogs orders I've filled, pretty cool, right? So... can that maybe be indication enough for you that I know what I'm doing on here re: shipping the records outside of the cover, providing a tracking number, the basic, 101 type stuff? So if you place an order with me, or anyone who's been at it for over a decade on here, maybe lay off the unnecessary chatter after you place an order, yeah?

You may be thinking to yourself: "why is this guy writing an Iliad-length dissertation essentially saying 'if you order a record I will ship it?' Isn't that a given in the world of internet commerce?" Well friend, post-pandemic, this site received a huge spike in r/vinyl midwits who expect Amazon Prime service at sub-swap meet prices. The burden falls on the sellers to put up with these diaper babies, and we're supposed to shrug our shoulders and go along with it, because hey, we obviously need the money or we wouldn't be on here. And yeah, true as that may be, this is still my proverbial bathroom stall wall where I can gripe about my grievances. The tragic irony being, of course, the "problem buyers" never read this crap anyway, so that brings us back to the original question: why this whole diatribe? If you're still reading, then hopefully it's to bring a smile to your face as you scroll through the waves of scam listings and bountiful, top price, G+, missing sleeve offerings this site has to offer. Have fun out there!
