Great release! Sounds amazing, and the album is fantastic of course. Just wish it was in a norelco case instead of a paper sleeve, but I understand the motive behind it.

Way better than the vinyl. Unfortunately, the vinyl pressings of this album are awful. That recycled vinyl sounds like $hit. The cassette sounds wonderful! I am so happy there was a cassette option. It is my preferred way to listen to the album.

Edited 12 months agowith all the complaints about the vinyl sound quality i am happy to say the cassette sounds great for a modern release. sucks about everyone's vinyl grailz though
actual review: as stated, sound is pretty great for a modern cassette, level isn't recorded too low so there's not much tape hiss. o-card is a little disappointing but i have 90s o-card releases that have held up, so i guess it's fine. j-card and plastic case would've been preferred. Cassette material feels different, recycled plastic has a foggy look that is pretty unique. -
Quality is bad. Just in a thin cardboard slipcase. My other cassettes by artist like Melanie Martinez are cheaper and better quality

The cassette plays perfectly fine. I think a hell of a lot better then the vinyl based on samples I heard and the reviews.
Awesome bass you really feel, dynamic and no distortion. Obviously as every cassette without noise reduction there is a background hiss but it's constant and not random like on the vinyl.
The cardboard case/sleeve is a total joke although it feels very cheap but at least it sounds great.
